About me

I am a developer for this project and my main contributions so far have been among others:

• Player vision.
• Editor terrain tool improvement (setting the terrain of a triangle by clicking on it).
• Other improvements to the usability of the editor.
• Implementation of land ownership changes (and fixing that code when it was broken by rewrites of other code).
• Fixing and improving the functionality of production programs (for example getting rid of line numbers).
• Fixing and improving the functionality of immovable programming (which enables tree reproduction).
• Fixing very many problems all over the game logic.
• Windowmanager (snapping and docking).
• Workarea preview in the building placement dialog and visualization of workarea in the building dialog.
• Fix for rendering of border markers.
• Fix for workers disappearing when buildings are destroyed.
• Triggers (military influence, ownership, vision) and events (building, flag, immovable, road).
• Optional automatic flag building after road building and optimization of roads after each step during roadbuilding.
• Implemented counting of casualties, kills and military/civilian buildings lost/defeated during attacks for statistics.
• Enable loading savegames and starting tutorials and loading maps in the editor from the command line.
• Replace bogus datetime format used for filenames with proper ISO standard datetime format. This makes sure that the files are properly sorted in directory listings.
• Fix broken keyboard and mouse input.
• Implemented navigation to the previous/next wordbegin (Ctr+Left/Right arrow key) in the single and multi line edit boxes.
• Implemented Home/End and Ctrl+Home/End navigation in multi line edit boxes.
• Make buttons look different depending on whether they are enabled or disabled.
• Bugfixes (an awful lot of many many many many many many invalid memory access errors, also a lot of memory leaks and also an awful lot of many other things).
• Mousewheel support.
• Keyboard shortcut for centering the main mapview on the starting location and toggling the objective window (and make sure that the objective list is updated properly).
• Fixes to the save game dialog.
• Fixes to very very many places all over the user interface source code.
• Very many code correctness fixes all over the code base.
• Optimization of minimap rendering.
• Make it possible to show pictures in tables and allow table columns without sort button in the header. Allow setting alignment per-column instead of just per-table.
• Fix the building statistics window to be able to show building graphics properly and add a column for building size to the table.
• Optimizations.
• Fixes for the Sparc architecture.
• Bugfixes for problems that people reported on 64-bit architectures.
• Very many fixes all over the game data.
• Fixed a language code problem.
